Vivek Trivedi

Vivek currently works as a Research Programmer and Data Analyst under the supervision of Dr. Bruce McNaughton. His work focuses on developing image classification and 3D reconstruction algorithms for microscopic images using parallel and distributed framework. Before joining the McNaughton lab, Vivek worked as a software developer for 10 years in industry. During that time, he was involved in many different software projects that included real-time computer vision based decision making, RDMS, statistical modeling, image classification and compression, protocol (EtherNet/IP) and driver implementation for PLC communication and designing of MFC and Java based graphical user interface.
