Amanda Mauthe

Biography
Born and raised in Lethbridge, Amanda completed a Business of Administration diploma with a major in Management from Lethbridge College in 2005. In the fall of 2005, she attended the University of Lethbridge to pursue a Bachelor of Management degree with a major in Human Resources and Labour Relations. In 2007, she received a Bachelor of Management degree with Distinction. In the fall of 2007, she entered the Masters of Science (Management) program at the University of Lethbridge. In 2009, she completed a M.Sc. (Management) degree with a major in Human Resources and Labour Relations under the supervision of Dr. Bob Boudreau. Her thesis work included a meta-analysis on physician burnout.

Current Role
Amanda is the administrative assistant for the Polaris Brain Dynamics Research Group. Her current duties include general administrative support; assistance with the submission of grants, progress reports, etc.; management of the webpage; personnel and payroll management for students, postdoctoral trainees, and staff; maintaining personnel files; assistance with the recruitment of staff and trainees; coordination of research meetings and campus visits; ordering of supplies and equipment; maintenance of research budgets; submission of online expense claims for staff; correspondence with the Animal Welfare Committee on protocols and amendments; and assisting with correspondence and communications via email, telephone, and fax.
